The Price of Tea

Here is how I prepare it for daily consumption:

Hot/Warm Tea

When it's cold and wintery, this is how I usually make my tea:

I use a thermos that holds 4 cups of water. (The Calli tea is very concentrated.)

Bring 4 cups of water to a bare simmer (don’t boil). Add the tea bag and water to the thermos and let steep for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes or just before I start to drink the tea I’ll add a packet of lemon Fortune Delight. I reuse the Calli teabag one more time, this time I let steep for longer, 10 minutes, an hour, however long I have and then I give the tea bag a squeeze with the back of the thermos stopper to get out every drop of flavor. Then add a packet of lemon Fortune Delight. This gives me 8 cups of tea out of one Calli tea bag and 2 packets of Fortune Delight. This is a method I’ve developed, it seems like everyone finds their preferred method and strengh for their own unique preferences.

(I like to pour into a 2 cup thermos so it's easier to take with when I'm driving.)

Cold/Room Temperature Tea

When it's warmer, and/or if I'm in a hurry and rushed for time, then this is how I usually make my tea:

I use a thermos that holds 2 cups of water.  Fill it with 2 cups of filtered water.   Add a packet of lemon Fortune Delight or whatever flavor you prefer.  Shake.  (If you'd like it a little sweeter, add a drop or 2 of SunnyDew.)  That's all there is to it!  Drink and enjoy.
